When I look back at this portrait session from five years ago, I remember how unsure I felt. I thought I had no idea what I was doing — just pressing the shutter and hoping something would turn out. Back then, I convinced myself those photos were good only because I had an incredible model in front of me. I kept waiting for that "aha" moment when I'd finally feel like I fit in, when I'd have enough experience to call myself a "real" photographer.

The Truth About Finding Your Voice as a Photographer

But here's the mind-blowing truth I finally realized: even then, I already knew what I was doing.

I was following my intuition, and it always brought me to something beautiful. The only thing in my way was self-doubt, and my need to fit into someone else's vision of what "good" should look like.

Since then, many things have changed — my editing style, my workflow, my understanding of colors and light. But one thing has stayed exactly the same: my approach.

A blurry black and white reflection in a mirror shows a figure with a raised hand creating a dramatic silhouette effect.

How I Create True Portraits (Not Just Pictures)

I follow my clients during our time together. I talk, I ask, I listen. And in between, I take photos.

Because I don't come with a fixed image in my head. If I want to photograph you, I need to know you.

This isn't about recreating poses I've seen on Pinterest or forcing you into positions that look good but feel fake. It's about discovering who you are in this moment and capturing that truth.

Your story, not a template.

Every session is unique because every person is unique

Intuition over trends.

What feels right will always photograph better than what's "in"

Why Authentic Portraits Matter More Than Perfect Ones

It took me years to accept that this is my way of working with people. And I love it.

I love every second I spend with you, because you are so beautiful — and my only wish is that you see yourself the way I see you.

That's what a true portrait does. It doesn't just show what you look like. It shows who you are — your energy, your spirit, the way you move through the world. It captures something real that you'll recognize as yourself, not a styled version someone else created.
